Brix Slab – Font Family.
The Brix Slab font family was designed in 2011 by Hannes von Döhren in collaboration with Livius Dietzel (Type Foundry: HVD Fonts). The type family offers a robust slab serif typeface with subtle details. The font was designed for long texts and good legibility in small sizes but the robust slab serif typeface works great in headlines too. Brix Slab is a good choice for magazines, newspapers, digital publications, and brand identity design. A matching counterpart is Brix Slab Condensed, which works great in combination with Brix Slab. The extended font family (including: Brix Slab Condensed) consists of 24 fonts with more than 700 glyphs in each font. Brix Slab is made for complex, professional typography. The various OpenType features include small caps, five variations of numerals, and arrows. The extended character set supports Central, Eastern, and Western European languages.
