Fibra One, a new sans-inspired Avant Garde font family from type foundry Los Andes.
Designed in 2017/2018 by Jorge Cisterna for foundry Los Andes, the new Fibra One font family is based on a soft display typeface. With influences from the Avant-Garde font, its shapes differentiate from those found in its predecessor — the Fibra font. Its dynamic look is mainly characterized by both soft corners and smooth transitions between curved and straight sections. It was designed for display use but thanks to its generous x-height, it’s also a great choice for corporate text. Fibra One comprises 2 subfamilies — a basic version for the use in headings and subheadings as well as an Alt family that shows the true potential of the font, making it a great choice for magazine headlines, posters, and logotypes.
