TT Coats, a lively antiqua from foundry TypeType.
The creative team of Russian font foundry TypeType recently published a new typeface called ‘TT Coats’, a unique antiqua with lots of kindness and easiness. With TT Coats, type designer Ivan Gladkikh wanted to develop a functional font family for emotional inscriptions. In contrast to conventional antiqua typefaces, TT Coats’ characteristic look is marked by intentionally imperfect contours. This slightly hand drawn touch creates an interesting mix with the elegant appearance of antiqua letters. The font family consists of 10 typefaces including 5 weights ranging from Thin to Black plus matching Italics for each weight. In addition to the extensive set of Latin letters, the family also supports Cyrillic letters. Due to its “trembling” lines, the font is rather intended for the use as display font. You can get it as both ordinary desktop typeface and webfont. For further information, please follow the link below.
