Hudson NY is a new release from South African designer Andrew Footit. This display font collection consists of 3 type versions (Regular, Serif, and Slab) plus an additional ‘Press’ style for each version. That makes a total of 6 fonts. All 3 versions share the same basic design, which is based on a strong and bold geometry. The Hudson NY family is an advancement of Andrew Footit’s Roper font. Hudson NY’s design draws inspiration from typical College and American sports typography. Andrew Footit’s goal was to create a typeface that combines this authentic ‘American’ look with a modern touch.
The Hudson NY font family works great for a variety of display use, whether for printed products or on screen. That’s why the whole family is available as both standard desktop font and webfont.
